In its weekly council report of wednesday August 8, 2007, the Guinean Government annouces that Uranium has been discovered in Firawa, Guinea by the company Murchison Uninted NL. This annoucement follows the publication made by this company on August 2, 2007: http://www.murchisonunited.com.au/media/7480/guinea_drilling_results_20070702.pdf
Though this discovering preview a good tomorrow for guinean people, it's important to pay a real attention to the environmental impacts of this ore.
We will come back to this issue in our future publications.
